Synergy Stables, Inc. was started by the husband and wife team of Ryan & Andre’ Marie Dohrn. Over the years, Synergy Stables has focused on the equine reproduction side of the industry. SS, Inc. has stood such stallions as Infamous Fire, Zippy Zevi Dasher, Hesa Gay Dreamer, Chatti Honor Lark, and several others. Our emphasis has always been on the barrel racing industry.
An interesting fact about the Dohrn Family. In 1996, they created and started the 1st Web site dedicated solely to barrel racing – Barrelhorses.com. Barrelhorses.com allowed people to buy and sell barrel horses online, to have real time event results, news stories, and much more. In 2000, the couple sold their Internet company to Morris Communications in Augusta, GA and relocated from Chicago, IL to the SC/GA area to assist in the management of their equine related site. The Dohrns were also the minds behind the Award Winning Web site HorseCity.com.
Today, Synergy Stables focuses on the development of barrel horse prospects into finished, seasoned and dependable athlete partners. At no time will Synergy Stables have more than 3 horses they are working with.
Synergy Stables also focuses on raising AKC Pembroke Welsh Corgis. We offer several litters a year of companion Corgis. Health testing, temperament, confirmation and disposition are priority #1. While Synergy Stables is asked frequently, it is now a 100% private equine facility focusing only on the horses they own. Synergy Stables offers no public services.
Synergy Stables spent 3 years located in Oologah, OK.
As of June, 2017, they have returned to Beech Island, SC.
The Dohrns have focused on building a show facility on their 11 acres to highlight their equine and canine athletes.
The Synergy Stables’ barn features 4 show stalls, all with dutch doors – and runs, a wash rack, office and more.
The Dohrn Family consists of Ryan & Andre’ Marie as well as sons Dylan & Ethan. Dylan completed his Freshman year at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC, and has joined the Navy to serve his country. Ethan graduated High School in 2020 and is now working towards a degree in Electrical Engineering. Andre’ served as a previous board member for the Barrel Futurities of America (BFA).
Ryan & Andre’, with partners Jim & Stacey Warner, also produce the Kinder Cup Barrel Racing Championships in Kinder, LA every February. The 2024 Kinder Cup Paid out OVER $725,000 in cash and prizes. To date, the event has paid out over $1.7 MILLION DOLLARS and processed over 10,000 total entries. The Kinder Cup was the 8th largest paying barrel racing event of 2018, and the #4 futurity of 2018, and the 9th largest paying barrel racing event of 2019, and the #4 futurity of 2019. In 2019, fellow barrel racer Stacey Warner and Andre’ created the Good Times Barrel Racing Association. Good Times Barrel Racing Association has hosted RFD-TV The American Qualifiers, WPRA Regional races as well as Hooey Jr. Patriot Qualifiers.
